The incident occurred on Friday in the southeastern province of Khost where Afghan protesters attacked a convoy of trucks supplying oil to US-led NATO forces in the country. The attack took place during a demonstration near a US military base near the provincial capital city of Khost, leaving a number of people killed and injured.
