Assange faces arrest for breaching bail conditions 21 Jun 2012 British police say they will arrest Julian Assange for breaching his bail conditions if he steps outside the Ecuadorian embassy in central London. Mr Assange spent Tuesday night in the embassy, where he is seeking diplomatic immunity and political asylum. But he now faces arrest for breaching the conditions of his bail, which stipulates that he must stay at his bail address between 10:00pm and 8:00am. Mr Assange is fighting extradition to Sweden, where he is wanted for questioning on allegations of sexual assault.
