BP must pay for sand berms to protect coast 02 Jun 2010 As BP engineers suffered another setback Wednesday in the effort to capture oil gushing into the Gulf of Mexico, the Obama administration ordered the oil giant to pay for the construction of five protective sand berms off the Louisiana coast. Speaking in the coastal city of Venice, Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal said the White House had determined that the island buildup would help keep oil from entering marshlands and that BP would be required to pay for the work.

Under the Clean Water Act, dredging AND filling (of berms, for example) are both defined water pollutants! Hmmm ... so, in addition to the gushing oil, another Obamanible "solution" is to dredge contaminated Gulf bottom sediment, redispose of it in the Gulf as SPOIL islands; meanwhile re-entraining the disturbed petroleum pollutants in the Gulf in order to futilely "protect" the coasts for the "future"! Quadruply POLLUTED POSTERITY (and Obamanible BS [Bush Shadow] VOODOO Ecology)!! Also, JEJUNE!
