Christopher Dorner Is First Drone Target on US Soil --Police plan to use spy drones in the hunt for a Rambo-style ex-soldier and policeman 10 Feb 2013 Police believe burly, heavily-armed Christopher Dorner is holed-up in the wilderness of California’s snow-capped San Bernardino mountains 80 miles east of Los Angeles. Yesterday, it was revealed that Dorner has become the first human target for remotely-controlled airborne drones on US soil. Asked directly if drones have already been deployed, Riverside Police Chief Sergio Diaz, who is jointly leading the task force, said: "We are using all the tools at our disposal." The use of drones was later confirmed by Customs and Border Patrol spokesman Ralph DeSio, who revealed agents have been prepared for Dorner to make a dash for the Mexican border since his rampage began. He said: "This agency has been at the forefront of domestic use of drones by law enforcement. That's all I can say at the moment."

San Bernardino County Sheriff John McMahon said: “To be honest, he could be anywhere right now. Torching his own vehicle could have been a diversion to throw us off track. Anything is possible with this man.”

My questions:
1. Correct me, but since this is NOT the first use of drones on US soil, are we to understand that "the authorities" INTEND TO TAKE DORNER OUT VIA DRONE, which WOULD be a "first"?
2. After the 1AM Thursday Corona shooting, which included "multiple guns" per LAPD scanner, AND a getaway by the suspect(s), the Riverside police were ambushed at 1:30AM by the same suspect(s)? Were they not privy to the 1AM incident and/or the suspect vehicle? Was the entire Riverside PD not privy? Yet the vehicle in the 1AM Corona incident was spotted for the LAPD by a private citizen (per local media reports) who WAS privy to the Dorner vehicle description at that time? Does LAPD not tell Riverside PD anything?
3. Why did early Thursday media report Dorner's vehicle as "black", "blue", "gray" or "blue-gray"? Was this not almost guaranteed to result in the shooting of innocent parties?
4. When was Dorner's "manifesto" posted on Facebook? When did LAPD learn about it? How? When did the Navy, Dorner's apparent employer at the time, know?
5. Now a $1,000,000 reward has been posted for Dorner, says the LAPD Chief. Somehow the local media failed to include all the details, like whether it matters if Dorner is caught dead or alive...
6. How would Dorner torching his own vehicle, which was apparently shown BURNING on TV, qualify as a "diversion" to throw his pursuers "off the track"? Could he have had assistance?
7. Cui bono?
