MSNBC Covers Yemen Protest, but Not Wall Street Occupation --More time has been spent by MSNBC reporting the fallout of Brad Pitt's comments on his marriage to Jennifer Aniston than has been spent on the fallout from the three nuclear meltdowns at Fukushima. By Lori Price, http://www.legitgov.org/ 20 Sep 2011 CLG readers, please contact MSNBC and ask why MSNBC is covering -- *endlessly* covering -- Charlie Sheen's 'roast' and 'Mad Men' at the Emmys -- but nary a mention of the protests on Wall Street. During its 2 PM ET program on Monday, NewsNation, Tamron Hall covered - with video - a protest in Yemen. In fact, 'Yemen protesters overrun base of presidential guard' was the lead story on msnbc.com at 3 PM ET. However, anti-corporate and/or anti-war protests in the US fails to reach the MSNBC show rundowns or website.
MSNBC spent more time covering the fallout from Brad Pitt's comments on his marriage to Jennifer Aniston than they spent on the radioactive fallout from the three nuclear meltdowns (also not mentioned, under cover of the Casey Anthony murder trial) at Fukushima.
We're still hearing about the 'Arab Spring' as the leaves turn red - what about the 'People's Autumn' (October 2011) and the 'CLG Spring'? MSNBC mentions, ad nausea, the quote, unquote Arab Spring. That's because the 'Arab Spring' does not threaten US corpora-terrorists. On the contrary, the 'Arab Spring' is all and ONLY about convincing the US sheeple to accept without question torrential Wall Street/mercenary funding for endless wars for oil, gas and opium routes. Otherwise, we would never have heard the term. The US doesn't care a wit about promoting democracy, on US soil or anywhere. Tell MSNBC to start covering the 'People's Autumn!' Get ready for 'CLG Spring' aka Citizens for Legitimate Government's Seize DC -- coming Spring 2012!
