Obama reaches out to CEOs who backed Romney [Hahaha! He won't have to reach too far -- Obama was with them from the get-go. He was always with them.] --He met with another group of chief executives last week. 27 Nov 2012 President Obama is scheduled to meet with more than a dozen chief executives at the White House on Wednesday, including several prominent backers of his former GOP opponent, Mitt Romney. A guest list released by the White House includes Marriott CEO Arne Sorenson and State Farm CEO Ed Rust, both of whom maxed out to Romney's presidential campaign and kicked in another $15,000 to the RNC this fall. Then there's Caterpillar chief executive Douglas Oberhelman, who gave a combined $27,500 to Romney and the RNC, and AT&T CEO Randall Stephenson who gave a combined $35,800.
