Tree Meets Pool By Lori Price, www.legitgov.org 29 Aug 2011 Capping off 'Summer of Hell 2011' which included killer heat, several undeclared wars for oil, multiple Barack Obama cave-ins and sellouts, and a Rick Perry 'I-don't-believe-in-evolution' presidential run -- was Hurricane Irene. Below are pictures (taken by my neighbor) of a large (250-year-old?) pine tree which fell in my back yard as Hurricane/Tropical Storm Irene made landfall in Southwest Connecticut, 28 August 2011.
