US Cops Top List of Demands For Twitter Info --Twitter releases figures showing which governments have made the most demands for users' personal details. 03 Jul 2012 Twitter has revealed that US law enforcement agencies made 80% of the total requests for users' private information. Of the 849 total government requests for user information between January 1 and June 30 this year, 679 took place in the US, typically for use in criminal investigations. Japan was in second place with 98 requests filed by police, followed by 11 requests from law enforcement agencies in the UK and Canada. [Of course! Hypocritical USociopaths issue the most demands for data while sickeningly preaching 'freedom' all over the world with killer drones! Anonymous, get busy.]
