Cheney treated at hospital for blood clot --Vice president was experiencing 'discomfort' following overseas trip 05 Mar 2007 [Updated 06 March] Doctors discovered a blood clot in Vice President [sic] Dick Cheney's left leg Monday, a condition that could be fatal if left untreated. The 66-year-old Cheney, who has a history of heart problems, will be treated with blood-thinning medication for several months, said spokeswoman Lea Anne McBride.

That's too bad. But at least he HAS a calf to have discomfort in. That's more than we can say for the thousands who've lost legs and other limbs in his war of terrorism! A blood-clot--now there's the kind of 'surge' that we need!
