Well That's Okay --by

I mainly preach to the choir in my articles, but this one, I intend to reach out to those who support George W. Bush. A megalomaniac that rules and does not serve. Bush hasn't gotten Osama bin Laden, as he promised, "Dead or alive", "Well that's okay." He has not found yet any weapons of mass destruction in Iraq? "Well that's okay." Many of our servicemen have died in duty to country. Some from friendly fire. "Well that's okay" Bush has given carte blanche to the systematic murder of Iraqi citizens, where they did nothing to us. "Well that's okay" I just lost my job, and find little hope of finding another. Bush wants to rebuild Iraq with my tax dollars. "Well that's okay" Having lost my job, I face foreclosure on my home or being evicted from my apartment, yet Bush wants to rebuild Iraq with my tax dollars. "Well that's okay" I am sick and in need of health care, but I do not have health insurance. I cannot afford to go to the ER or a doctor because of it. But, I hear Bush wants to rebuild Iraq with my tax dollars. "Well that's okay" Because I have no health care, my child was up all night long. I think he or she has an ear infection and cannot stop crying. It breaks my heart. But, I hear Bush wants to rebuild Iraq using my tax dollars. "Well that's okay" My children have been known to get into trouble, because I have to work two or more jobs. I fear they might break the law, and I have no help. But, I hear Bush wants to rebuild Iraq with my tax dollars. "Well that's okay" I keep bumping into these homeless people on the street. Why can't anything be done about them? I mean they are an eyesore to look at, and I fear for my safety. Or there should be a place to keep them safe. But, I keep hearing Bush wants to use my tax dollars to rebuild Iraq. "Well that's okay" My taxes keep going up, and I do not know how long I can afford to stay in my home. This was my American dream. I worked so hard for this. My little white house with the picket fence around it. I deserved this. Yet, I hear Bush wants to rebuild Iraq with my tax dollars. "Well that's okay" Crime has gone up in my neighborhood, and there have been layoffs in our police force due to budget crunches. But, I hear Bush wants to rebuild Iraq with our tax dollars and take that money away from law enforcement. "Well that's okay" I am a senior citizen and wake up every single day having to choose between taking my medicines that will help keep me alive, or eating. Bush said he would help get me a prescription drug plan and has not done so. Yet he wants to use my tax dollars to rebuild Iraq, and here I still wake up having to choose between medicines that will keep me alive or eating. "Well that's okay" I have worked for so many years, and am now ready to get Social Security, and I cannot afford to live on this measly sum. But, I have heard Bush wants to rebuild Iraq with my tax money and has even dipped into our Social Security funds over the years. "Well that's okay" I am a veteran of past wars, and have seen cuts to the very programs I need. I put my life on the line in duty to country. But, I hear Bush wants to rebuild Iraq with my tax dollars. "Well that's okay" Well, America, I am asking you now. When will it NOT be OKAY? He is about to use your tax dollars to rebuild a country that he has bombed. Where we had no right to invade. Because he said they had weapons of mass destruction. Well where the hell are they? Where is Osama bin Laden? Funny, this man George W. Bush always believed, America first. Yet, he will rebuild Iraq using your tax dollars, instead of putting that money where it will most certainly help. In America first. How long will you continue to say, "Well that's okay"?
