Columbo, Selective. Instead of worrying about a superscript key used in one of the Bush AWOL documents -- when the entire world knows that George Bush did not serve admirably, but John Kerry did -regardless of the new documents' authenticity -- *why* didn't the media focus on the myriad of *obvious* oddities surrounding the Nicholas Berg 'beheading video?'

Why do the walls and baseboards behind Nick Berg sitting in the U.S. Army white plastic chair (the same chair on which Pfc. Lynndie England was photographed) just-so-happen to match those inside Abu Ghraib prison? Not to mention, there are breaks in the timecode on the tape, revealing inconsistencies in the Timeline Edit? Also *un*-investigated: the man in the videotape who is purported to be Abu Musab al-Zarqawi (Wasn't he dead, anyway? *See: "Rebels: Top Iraq Terrorist Dead," CBS News, March 4, 2004. Then, al-Zarqawi apparently *arose from the dead* to carry out the beheading of Nicholas Berg... see "Al-Zarqawi Murdered Berg, CIA Concludes," Faux News, May 14, 2004.), wearing a gold ring. Wearing a gold ringer on that finger is forbidden by Islamic law.

I could go on and on and on, but suffice to say, the GOP media whores are only interested in 'investigations' when a Bush/Faux-favored outcome is assured.
