Michael
Rectenwald was scheduled to appear on "Scarborough Country" July
7, but was bumped for the stump speech of John Edwards from Florida.
Mike was about to rebut critics of "Fahrenheit
9/11" and provide even more facts about 9/11. Hopefully he'll
be called back on. The CLG will notify its readers if/when the
appearance is rescheduled.

Subject: DOES EDWARDS SPELL TROUBLE FOR BUSH?
------------------------------------------------------
Scarborough Country
------------------------------------------------------
WELCOME TO
SCARBOROUGH COUNTRY
Here's what's
happening in Scarborough Country tonight at 10pm ET, 9pm CT, 8pm
MT, 7pm PT:
DOES EDWARDS
SPELL TROUBLE FOR BUSH?
In an NBC
poll taken yesterday immediately after reports hit of John Kerry's
selection of John Edwards was reported, 49 percent favored the
Democratic ticket to 41 percent for Bush/Cheney. And the Republican
National Committee and the Bush campaign wasted no time in going
after Edwards -- the RNC called Edwards a "disingenuous unaccomplished
liberal" and "friend to personal injury trial lawyers."
So does this
spell real trouble for the GOP ticket, or is Edwards not enough
to bring home victory for John Kerry? We'll ask former presidential
candidate Steve Forbes, and former vice-presidential candidate
and former cabinet member Jack Kemp. Be sure to tune in!
MICHAEL MOORE
IS A BIG, FAT STUPID WHITE GUY
So says David
T. Hardy, who's authored a book with that catchy title. He and
co-author Jason Clarke take on Michael Moore from all angles --
his filmmaking, his background, and his image.
Hardy
enters Scarborough Country for a showdown with Mike Rectenwald,
founder of the group "Citizens for Legitimate Government,"
who's seen "Fahrenheit 9/11" three times and says Moore
can stand behind every fact in the movie.
NEW TERROR
TAPE
Time magazine
reporter Michael Ware was given chilling video of suicide bombers
in Iraq in their last moments before killing themselves and others.
The video was obtained by a man with close ties to the terrorist
al-Zarqawi.
Ware joins
MSNBC terrorism expert Steve Emerson in Scarborough Country tonight
with the latest on the situation in Iraq, and what can be learned
from the disturbing footage of terrorists preparing to kill.
QUOTE OF
THE DAY: "Dick Cheney can be president." -- President
Bush, commenting on John Kerry's pick of John Edwards as his running
mate.
