This event is a collaborative effort with other pro-democracy and environmental groups to fight against Bush and his energy, environmental, and economic policies. The Bush misministration continues its treasonous acts against our country now refusing to offer California price relief from Texas big oil and energy companies. California expects to have to pay $50B for energy this year as compared to $27B in 2000, and $7B in 1999, an increase of over 700% (see this). The Bush "Plan" for America is just not acceptable and it will eventually drag down California's economy, with the entire U.S. economy to follow. The message is to let Bush know we do not accept him or his environmental, energy, and economic "Plan" for America. This campaign is also to let our political representatives know that America and the World want our government to look toward the use of alternative fuels and renewable energy sources, and to lessen our dependence on fossil fuels in the very near future that continue to warm our planet.
