Canadian fighter jets on NORAD intercept exercises

Canadian fighter jets on NORAD intercept exercises 07 Dec 2010 Don't be alarmed [?!?] if you spot Canadian fighter jets in the sky today and tomorrow tightly escorting other aircraft. Training exercises will be underway over southern B.C., Alberta and Saskatchewan as Canadian Forces aircraft practise NORAD intercept and identification procedures. The exercises are slated for 2 to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and noon to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, during which residents may see CF-18 Hornet fighter jets in close proximity with contracted civilian-looking aircraft.
