Judge: Guantanamo detainee not suffering from PTSD 01 Jul 2010 A judge has ruled that a Guantanamo Bay detainee prisoner awaiting trial in a New York civilian court is trying to hinder his prosecution by claiming he suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder. U.S. District Judge Lewis Kaplan said Thursday he has concluded that Ahmed Khalfan Ghailani does not suffer from the disorder. A psychologist testified several weeks ago that Ghailani suffered from the disorder. It was said to be a result of treatment he received during interrogations at a secret CIA-run camp overseas after his 2004 arrest.
