Judges orders two N.J. men held without bail on terror charges 07 Jun 2010 The two New Jersey men charged with trying to join an overseas Islamist militant group were ordered held without bail today during a brief hearing today in federal court in Newark. Mohamed Mahmood Alessa and Carlos Eduardo Almonte appeared shackled for the three-minute hearing, overflowing with reporters. The two men are charged with conspiring to murder, maim, and kidnap outside the United States.
