UAE extends BlackBerry ban to visitors 02 Aug 2010 The United Arab Emirates has extended its ban on the application of BlackBerry services to foreign visitors. The UAE's Telecommunication Regulatory Authority (TRA) made the announcement on Monday. The TRA said on Sunday that the country's citizens would have to stop using the mobile handset's e-mail, messaging, and internet services as of October 11, the German press agency DPA reported.
