Petitiononline purges 13,000 signatures from 9/11 Oddities petition
Update: 26 Sep 2005 Kevin Matthews of petitiononline.com has addressed the issue, in a prompt and courteous fashion. Apparently, there was a technical fluke with their server upgrade, and Kevin Matthews has assured me (and those who have written to him) that the signatures will be restored, and the 9/11 Oddities Petition author will again be able to approve/reject signatures. I will provide an update, when the link to approve signatures is sent to me, and when the 13,000 signatures have been restored. I want to thank everyone who took the time to write to petitiononline, to helped in this matter. --Lori Price
Petitiononline purges 13,000 signatures from 9/11 Oddities petition --Author's ability to approve signatures is removed 25 Sep 2005 The online petition 'service,' petitiononline.com, has removed nearly 13,000 valid signatures from CLG's Petition to the Senate to Investigate Oddities Involving 9/11 Terrorist Attacks. The petition was started in January 2002, by Citizens For Legitimate Government's General Manager, Lori Price. The petition reached 28,000 signatures at the end of August 2005. The petition total on 25 September is 15,170 signatures. Petitiononline.com has not replied to Price's request for the reasons why they removed 13,000 valid signatures from her petition. Also, petitiononline has REMOVED the author's option for approving any signatures. Petititiononline has taken control of that option and has STOPPED approving signatures for the 9/11 Oddities petition. Why???
Quick action!!! EVERYONE, please ask petitiononline *why* they purged 13,000 signatures from a petition questioning the oddities surrounding 9/11. Here is their online form for questions: http://www.petitiononline.com/cgi-bin/petition_help.cgi?11601TFS/petition.html
